ELISABETH TAYLOR...

Elisabeth Rosemond ''Liz Taylor'' was an English-born American actress. She began her career at the age of 9 and continued till her recent death. Known for her acting talent, glamour and beauty; as well as a much publicized private life, which included eight marriages! Several near-death experiences, and decades spent as a social activist, championing the cause of AIDS awareness, research and cure. Taylor, a two-time winner of the Academy Award for Best Actress, was considered one of the great screen actresses of Hollywood's Golden Age. The American Film Institute named Taylor seventh on its Female Legends list. In 1960, Taylor became the highest paid actress up to that time when she signed a one million dollar contract to play the title role in 20th Century Fox's lavish production of Cleopatra. which would eventually be released in 1963. During the filming, she began a romance with her future husband Richard Burton, who played Mark Antony in the film. The romance received much attention from the tabloid press, as both were married to other spouses at the time. By working overtime, Taylor received more than $2 million for her role.
However, today Elisabeth Taylor does remains deeply in all people's hearts and justly won a place on sky by her closest best friend Michael Jackson. One of the brightest stars of American film industry now passed away and it is time for all American industries to seek for new talents but less sparkling stars.
